Returns Policy

At Ridgeway Tourers, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you need to return an item bought through our online shop, please read the information below.

Change of mind returns

If you have bought an item online and have changed your mind, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

Once you have told us that you wish to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to return the item to us. This follows UK distance selling rules for online purchases.

To be eligible for a change of mind return, the item must be:

  • unused
  • in its original packaging where possible
  • complete with all parts, accessories, instructions and labels
  • in a resaleable condition

Please note that we may reduce the refund if the item has been handled more than necessary or returned in a condition that affects its resale value.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible so we can put things right.

Under the Consumer Rights Act, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If an item is faulty, you may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement depending on the circumstances.

Please include your order number, a description of the issue and, where possible, photographs of the fault or damage.

How to return an item

To arrange a return, please contact Ridgeway Tourers before sending anything back.

Please provide:

  • your name
  • your order number
  • the item you wish to return
  • the reason for the return
  • your contact details

Once we have confirmed the return, please package the item securely and return it to us using a tracked or recorded delivery service. We recommend keeping proof of postage until your return has been processed.

Return postage costs

For change of mind returns, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item.

If the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, Ridgeway Tourers will discuss the most appropriate return or replacement arrangement with you.

Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your returned item, we will process any refund due back to your original payment method.

Refunds will usually be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods or receiving evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever is earlier.

Original standard delivery charges may be refunded where required by law. Enhanced delivery charges, such as express or special delivery upgrades, may not be refunded.

Items that cannot be returned

Some items may not be suitable for return unless they are faulty. This may include:

  • items that have been used, fitted, installed or damaged after delivery
  • items missing parts, packaging or accessories
  • specially ordered, personalised or custom-made items
  • products that cannot be returned for hygiene or safety reasons once opened

This does not affect your statutory rights.
